Eduardo Vom
Eduardo is a co-founder and executive director at Planet Innovation, a technology development and commercialisation company with over 250 in-house professionals. Planet Innovation is recognised as one of Australia's most innovative companies, winning The Australian Financial Review's Most Innovative Companies award three times. Planet Innovation was born as a commercialisation consultancy after its founders – including Eduardo – previously held leadership roles at Melbourne-based cancer diagnostics manufacturer Vision Biosystems, whose parent Vision Systems sold to US conglomerate Danaher Corporation for $815 million in 2006.
Planet Innovation builds businesses by combining existing technology in a commercially focused way. Eduardo has been directly responsible for the conception, development and commercialisation of several new multi-million dollar technologies, including industry-changing products for Australian fertility business Genea who recently sold for $250m.
Eduardo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Technology and an honours degree in Industrial Engineering and Computing from Monash University.
